This sturdy and low - maintenance unit provides a continuous supply of HotPacs™ at a consistent temperature. The full fiberglass insulation minimizes energy consumption and prevents heat loss, ensuring even and steady warmth. It's incredibly convenient as no plumbing is required.
Each HotPac is filled with bentonite, a natural hydrocolloid, and wrapped in a woven cotton blend. It offers up to 30 minutes of deep, comforting warmth and can be reheated as needed. These HotPacs are cost - effective, as they can be used hundreds of times and are designed to resist mildew growth. The unit comes with 2 Oversize, 1 Cervical, and 3 Standard Hydrocollator Moist Heat Steam Packs.

Using the Chattanooga Hydrocollator Model E - 2 is easy. First, make sure the unit is properly plugged in and filled with water to the appropriate level according to the tank capacity. Then, place the HotPacs inside the unit to heat them up. Once heated, take out a HotPac and apply it to the area where you need pain relief. You can use it for up to 30 minutes, and if it cools down, you can reheat it.
When using the HotPacs, always be careful not to touch them directly with your skin as they can be hot. It's a good idea to wrap them in a thin towel. Also, make sure the area where you're applying the HotPac is clean.
For maintenance, keep the unit clean by wiping it regularly with a damp cloth. Check the water level in the tank frequently and refill it when needed.
