Product Description

Deliver top - notch steam with outstanding temperature control.

The herbal ball treatment is a traditional heat therapy. The Sabai Ball is applied along the body's Sen Sib lines or acupressure zones through various motions. These include a 'rock 'n roll' (back - and - forth movement), a 'rolling' (orbital circular motion), and a 'dragging' motion to boost blood flow and lymphatic drainage. You can use the Sabai Ball with traditional Thai or Swedish massage, or target specific body parts with muscle tightness or pain.

It can hold around 2 large or 6 small herbal balls.

Only includes the Herbal Ball Steamer.

Tips:

  • When lifting the steamer lid, make sure to direct the steam away from your body.
  • The Sa - Wan Ball is extremely hot right after taking it out of the steamer and will cool down gradually.
  • The ball handle can get very hot. Use a washcloth or something similar to hold it if needed.
  • Always check the ball's temperature before using it on a client, especially when taking out a new ball from the steamer and during the treatment to sense the heat change.
  • The heat a client feels from the herbal ball depends on the ball's temperature, the contact time on one body point, and the applied pressure.
  • The ball is usually very hot when removed from the steamer. A good way to use this heat is to 'stamp' it quickly along the body, then work more slowly and precisely as it cools.
  • There are five main techniques for using the Sa - Wan Ball, with Rocking and Rolling being the most popular. In all cases, apply the ball with steady pressure perpendicular to the treated area.
  • Rocking - Move the ball back and forth steadily.
  • Rolling - Spin the ball in a circle while keeping downward pressure.
  • Stamping - Lightly and rapidly touch the ball on the body.
  • Stationary - Apply steady downward pressure while holding the ball upright to the treated area.
  • Dragging - Apply steady pressure perpendicular to the Sen line while dragging. This can improve blood flow and lymphatic drainage but may cause discomfort to some clients depending on the pressure.

Using the Sa - Wan Herbal Poultice Ball Steamer is easy. First, place your herbal balls inside. It can hold about 2 large or 6 small ones. Then, when you're ready to use the balls, lift the lid carefully, making sure to let the steam out away from your body. The balls will be very hot when you first take them out, so be cautious. You can use a washcloth to grab the handle if it's too hot. Before using the ball on a client, always test its temperature. As you use the ball, remember that the heat the client feels depends on the ball's temperature, how long it touches one point, and the pressure you apply. There are five basic techniques: Rocking (moving the ball back and forth), Rolling (spinning it in a circle), Stamping (quickly touching it on the body), Stationary (applying steady pressure while holding it upright), and Dragging (applying pressure along the Sen line). Keep an eye on the ball's temperature during use and adjust your techniques as it cools. Also, after each use, make sure to clean the steamer properly to keep it in good condition.
