The set of 12 includes 4 round, 4 oval, and 4 teardrop-shaped stones.
These salt stones are compatible with the Salt Massage Stone Warmer Bowl (N4430, N4431), the Salt Stone Mobile Massage Set (STB100), and the Bamboo Warming Tray (N5024).
Care and Usage
When the stones come into contact with moisture, they may shrink or become rough, depending on the amount of water. If they get rough, just sand them with sandpaper to make them smooth. If you use them with water for a salt scrub or lymphatic drainage, you'll need to replace them occasionally.
Before First Use
1. If necessary, lightly sand the hand-carved Himalayan salt stones with sandpaper.
2. After sanding, coat the new stones with massage oil and let it sit for 5 - 15 minutes.
3. Wipe the stones with a cotton towel to make them smoother. They'll get even smoother with each massage.
During Massage
The various shapes of the Himalayan salt stones fit well in therapists' hands and contour to the client's body. Most stones are designed for a comfortable grip.
1. Therapists should first figure out which side or angle of the stones best suits the client's body.
2. After using the stones on the client, return them to the warmer to reheat and reuse as needed.
After Massage
1. Take the stones out of the warming tray. Disinfect them with a disinfectant wipe or spray after each use.
2. Spray the disinfectant 2 - 3 times gently.
3. Dry the stones with a cotton towel.
Do's and Don'ts
DO check the stone's temperature with your hand before each use. DO wipe the pad with a light disinfectant mist and dry it after each use. DO sand the stones lightly when they get rough. DON'T use a stone if it's too warm in your hand. DON'T forget to dry the stones completely after cleaning.
