Using the TheraTools Basalt Stone Set is easy. First, heat the stones in a professional stone heater to the appropriate temperature. For a facial, start with the facial stones. Gently massage the face, ears, and neck using light effleurage strokes. You can also chill the facial stones and place them over the eyes to reduce swelling. For body massage, use the palm stones for general warming and effleurage, the finger and toe stones to relax cramped muscles, the foot stones for foot reflexology, and the small body/working stones for detailed massage of smaller areas. The pillow/neck stone can be placed under the neck to warm the muscles. When using the stones, always test the temperature on a small area of the skin first to avoid burns.
